Human Resouces Pro Joins RLH Team
We are pleased to welcome Michelle Choquette to the RL Hudson management team. She has joined us on a part-time basis as our Director of Human Resources. With more than 15 years of experience as a human resources executive, Michelle is uniquely qualified to lead and enhance our employee relations program here at RL Hudson.
Michelle comes to us after having served for the past three years as Vice President of Human Resources for Vanguard Car Rental, which was recently acquired by Enterprise Renta- Car in St. Louis. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and works with a number of nonprofit organizations in the Greater Tulsa area. A graduate of the University of Tulsa, Michelle has extensive experience in all aspects of human resources, including organizational design and development, compensation and benefits systems, safety and health, employee and labor relations, recruiting and retention, policies and procedures, and employee performance and development as well as compliance.
Solutions Magazine Recognized by IABC
Once again, Solutions magazine has been honored by the Tulsa Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators with a Bronze Quill Award. This is the eighth year in a row that Solutions has received such an honor. Other companies recognized at the event included ConocoPhillips, the Williams Companies, ONEOK, and our friends at Frank W. Murphy.
Employees Exceed United Way Goal
October marked the annual United way fund drive at RL Hudson. The campaign was a resounding success, and a lot of fun! Company employees pledged payroll-deducted contributions, purchased donated items in a silent auction and participated in several pay-to-play events like putting (won by Rick Hudson), dodgeball, and for the first time, an arm wrestling championship, complete with a regulation table built by our own Darren Mashburn. RL Hudson employees demonstrated their generosity by once again exceeding the fundraising goal despite the souring economy.

FOR A GOOD CAUSE: For this year’s RL Hudson United Way fund drive, employees divided up into teams for a dodgeball tournament. As the picture shows, some people take their dodgeball very seriously.
