Quality Assurance
At the production stage, we proactively work with our Asian manufacturers to continually refine their material specifications, process controls, and molding methods. Our personnel in China and Taiwan also conduct factory audits to verify ongoing improvement. We do all of this because we know that a poorly produced cheap part is ultimately no bargain if it fails in service. We look for ways to efficiently and cost-effectively procure high-quality, reliable parts.
But that’s not all we do. Once we receive finished parts, our in-house quality inspectors go to work using a number of sophisticated devices. These include video imaging and laser scanning systems for small and complex parts. Our inspectors also utilize a coordinate measurement machine (CMM) for large items like floor mats. We invested in these inspection devices because we take our gatekeeper role very seriously, and we work hard to make sure our customers receive only the best.
