Product Design & Testing
We understand that our customers may need more than simple, off-the-shelf products; they often face complex technical challenges that can only be solved with highly engineered products. Our engineering team utilizes Pro/E® parametric solid modeling design software in conjunction with sophisticated analytical engineering tools. We collaborate with our customers to develop cost-effective solutions to their problems.
Our products must perform reliably in a variety of operating conditions. During the design process, internal stresses and strains due to external forces, are modeled using Abaqus® Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Once the product is designed, we optimize the manufacturing process using Mold Flow Analysis (MFA) software to identify and eliminate potential molding problems by simulating material flow, shrinkage, cavity filling, fiber orientation and part warpage. Effective utilization of these and other analytical tools results in higher quality products that are launched more quickly, saving our customers time and money.
In addition to extensive design and process analyses, we also conduct product validation tests, including shaft seal endurance tests, hose vacuum and pressure tests, fatigue tests and environmental resistance tests. We do this to verify designs and ensure that our products will perform effectively in our customers’ applications.
