operating to a Quality System defined by ISO 9001.
As
part of this system, we established our own in-house
Quality Assurance department (see Figure
60) whose sole purpose is to oversee
the inspection of the products we offer, including
O-ring seals. We feel strongly that having our
own Quality Assurance department is a wise investment
in the ultimate success of our customers’ applications.
What
follows is an overview of the ten most common types
of O-ring surface imperfections, along with the
maximum acceptable measurements (both military
and industrial) in each case.
